  3. The 3rd step in the process and equally important is to determine the listing price. Careful consideration should be given to the data the agents provide to you. Look closely a the recent home sales in your area that are similar to your home. Take into consideration any upgrades or improvements and adjust accordingly. 
  4. Putting your home on the market is the next step in the process of selling your home. Prospective buyers and their agents will make contact with your agent to arrange showings.
  5. Receiving offers would be next! If you've priced it right you shouldn't have to wait too long before receiving an offer to purchase. Work together with your agent to negotiate the best sale possible netting you the most money possible.
  6. It's not over yet! Now you must get to the settlement table. Your agent will handle the transaction from the contract acceptance all the way to the closing table. Inspections will need to be scheduled by both your agent and the buyer's agent. Your agent will also be keeping a close eye on the buyers loan and getting the appraisal scheduled.  
  7. Closing day! The final step in the process of selling your home will be to attend the closing. Here you will sign the necessary documents to transfer title and ownership over to the buyers. Be sure to bring along your ID, all keys to the property and if you haven't already, wiring instructions for the proceeds of your sale.
